New patient visit (visit and a follow up phone conversation): $390.00
Follow-up visit commercial insurance or uninsured: $190.00
Ultrasound Thyroid/Neck: $150.00
Thyroid biopsy (neck ultrasound will be included if you need a biopsy): $400.00

• Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing that may be mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data.
Comprehensive Endocrinology Messaging Terms and Conditions
1. The messaging program consists of general conversational messaging to answer questions and provide support to customers.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text 'STOP' to the phone number from which you received messages. After you send the SMS message 'STOP' to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at billing@comp-endo.com.
4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency will vary based on communication needs. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

Welcome to Comprehensive Endocrinology
We are looking forward to participating in your Endocrine care. Comprehensive Endocrinology was founded by Claudia Panzer, M.D., ECNU, NCMP in 2007.
We are a direct pay practice, which means that we focus on personalized quality care focused on you without insurance companies being the middleman.
One of the main reasons I am moving to a direct pay model is to reduce the administrative burden imposed by insurance companies. This change will allow me to spend more time focusing on your care, rather than on paperwork and insurance requirements. Additionally, in the traditional insurance model, many important aspects of care—such as answering your questions through the patient portal—are not reimbursed, even though they are essential to your health. The direct pay model enables me to provide more timely and comprehensive care, with fewer barriers and delays.
Under the new direct pay model, patients with commercial insurance (including Medicare Advantage Plans) will pay for their visit at the time of service. Patients with commercial insurance will be able to seek reimbursement from their insurance company, and I will provide you with the necessary documentation to submit your claim (full receipt including fees and diagnostic codes). Patients with Medicare Advantage plans may get reimbursed depending on their HMO or PPO status. There are user-friendly apps available to help streamline this process, and my staff will be happy to assist you with any questions.
Please note that my ability to order laboratory tests and prescribe medications for you will not be affected by the transition to a direct pay model. You will continue to receive all necessary lab orders and prescriptions as part of your ongoing care, just as you have in the past. You may use your insurance at your preferred laboratory and pharmacy as usual.

- cholesterol and other lipid abnormalities
